Who is Brigitte Wolfhagen?
Brigitte is an experienced soundhealer who discovered the handpan after a drastic period in her life. She left for Portugal, lived in nature for a year and a half and found her passion for soundhealing and music there. Now she integrates the handpan into her soundhealing sessions and shares her knowledge and experience with others through workshops.

What can you expect during the workshop?
The handpan workshop is a complete introduction and perfect for beginners. You don't need any prior musical knowledge or your own handpan! As with the other beginner handpan workshops given by Handpan Studio, Brigitte also covers in this beginner handpan workshop:
- The basic techniques of handpan
- Tapping notes and chords
- Playing your first rhythm and melody
- A collaborative jam session where you learn to improvise
- A relaxing soundhealing lie-in concert as a conclusion
Program of the day
The workshop day is as follows:
- 10:45 - Walk-in and introductions.
- 11:00 - Start of workshop and basic techniques.
- 13:00 - Joint vegetarian lunch
- 14:00 - Continued workshop and improvisation
- 15:00 - Lying Concert & Soundhealing
- 15:30 - Closing and opportunity to rent a handpan
- 16:00 - End of workshop
Location & Cost
The workshops will take place at Popschool Parkstad, Kloosterweg 1, 6412 CN Heerlen. Participation costs €100, and you can rent a handpan for €50 per 10 days. If you decide to purchase an instrument after the workshop, the rental fee will be deducted from the purchase cost.
