1. Rental Period and Return
1.1. After receiving the handpan, the customer has four (4) weeks to play the instrument and then return it.
1.2. The return date will be determined based on the date of receipt of the handpan.
2. Condition of the Handpan upon Receipt
2.1. The handpan shall be shipped in correct, well-toned condition and without defects.
2.2. The customer is obliged to carefully check the packaging upon receipt.
2.3. If the box is damaged, the customer may refuse the package and notify us immediately.
2.4. If the box is in good condition, the customer should:
● Accept the package.
● Immediately check if the handpan sounds good.
● Make a video recording of how the handpan sounds upon receipt.
2.5. The customer should visually inspect the handpan for scratches, dents or other irregularities. Any defects should be reported to us immediately with photos and videos.
3. Customer Responsibility
3.1. The customer is responsible for handling the handpan carefully during the rental period.
3.2. Upon return, the handpan must:
● Be in the same condition as when received.
● Be properly packed in its original packaging or similar protection.
3.3. Before shipment, the customer should make a video recording of how the handpan sounds, so that in case of any damage during shipment, it is clear that the instrument was shipped in good condition.
3.4. Any damage that occurs during shipment back to us is the responsibility of the postal company.
3.5. We recommend that the customer send the package insured in the amount of €1600.
4. No Deposit System
4.1. Because we like to work on good faith, we have chosen to work without a deposit system. This makes the rental process more accessible to our customers.
4.2. We trust customers to treat the rented instrument with care and return it in the same condition in which it was received.
5. Inspection and Communication
5.1. Upon return, the customer will receive confirmation that the handpan has been received and inspected.
5.2. Any damage or discrepancies will be reported to the customer immediately.
6. Fees and Discounts
6.1. The rental price of the handpan will be deducted from the selling price of an instrument from our collection, if the customer decides to buy an instrument.
6.2. If the customer decides to keep the rented instrument, the customer will receive an additional discount of €100 on top of the rent already paid.
7. Liability
7.1. The customer remains responsible at all times for loss, damage or abnormalities to the handpan during the rental period.
7.2. Damage found upon return, such as detuning, dents, scratches or other defects, will be repaired and the cost recovered from the customer.
