Beginners Workshops

New to the handpan? Our beginner workshops are the perfect introduction. In two hours you will learn the basics of playing in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere. Our experienced teachers will help you get started step by step.

We begin with proper posture and touch technique so that you get a warm and clear sound from your instrument. Then we'll explore the scale and learn how to switch smoothly between notes. You will discover how to play multiple notes simultaneously and gain an understanding of initial rhythmic structures. We conclude with a collective jam session, so you immediately experience how much fun playing together is.

Playing together is a great way to grow as a musician. During our jam sessions and open mic nights, you will have the opportunity to play with others, gain new inspiration and have fun playing together. These evenings will be posted on hipsy and can be viewed HERE.

Master classes from top players

During our master classes, you will get a unique glimpse into the world of a professional handpan player. These sessions are tremendously inspiring and offer valuable insights into technique, composition and improvisation.
